about around the table co.
Think back on the last seven days. How many times have you thought about food? How many times have you asked yourself, “What are we going to eat today?” “ What’s a quick, healthy meal?” “When am I going to have time to go to the grocery store?” We think about food A LOT! That’s a lot of brain power and a lot of precious time. That’s why Around the Table Co was created. We want to take the food thought away and replace them with things you are passionate about. We want to take the time of grocery shopping and food prep time out of your weekly schedules and replace them with quality family time.
So how do we do that? We take care of all prep work that it takes to make a meal happen.
Step 1- Meal planning: We plan out your meals a week at a time. We can plan 5,10, or 15 meals each week. You decide how you want to break those meals up between breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Step 2- Grocery shopping: We create a grocery list that includes all of the necessary items to make the meals we planned for you. But, we don’t stop there! The grocery list is shared between us and you. You add onto the list too! Need milk? Add it! Need toilet paper? Add it! The goal is to cut the grocery store out of your to-do list completely so you can have a couple more hours to yourself or with your family each week.
Step 3- Ingredient Prep: Once the grocery shopping is done, we come to your house and start prepping all of the ingredients for your planned meals that week. No more chopping onions or shredding chicken. We’ve got all the prep work done for you, saving you loads of time. When you’re ready to cook, simply grab all your ingredients, follow the recipe provided, and enjoy a meal around the table with your family!
Get to know Me
Hey sunshine! My name is Tatum, and I am the owner of Around the Table Co. Food is a huge passion of mine, I might be the biggest “foodie” you’ll come to know. Whether it’s planning meals, cooking, or discovering the best food truck in town, I love it all! Growing up, my mom made food a priority. Even if it was eating a quick chicken-ceasar salad before running out the door to volleyball practice, she always made sure we sat down, ate, and had a moment to connect about our days. I took it for granted at the time, but when I became a wife and a mom, I realized just how important meal-time is for a family. It’s a designated time for us to unwind, catch up, and nourish our bodies. I cherish our moments around the table more than anything.
I am originally from Kansas City, but have lived around the Midwest and Texas. I attended UIW in San Antonio, where I pursued my short-lived volleyball career and completed my degree in Community Health Education. This is where I started to discover my passion for helping others overcome food challenges. When I’m not thinking about food, I’m most likely chasing around our energetic little boy, being a coach’s wife, playing volleyball, or watching the Chiefs game.
Although Around the Table Co. is a new business, there has been so much time and love poured into this. I have no doubt you will feel that care and love when you become a part of the Around the Table family. My hope is that I relieve the stress of feeding your family so that you can create more intentional moments with them.
With smiles,
Tatum
